Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details — your organization’s name and type, an optional website, your name, and your email. Your password is handled by our sign-in provider, stored only in hashed form, and is never visible to us.
• When you raise your hand — if you fill in an interest form, we keep your name, an optional organization name, your email, what you’re interested in, and any message you add, so we can follow up.
• Your statement of intent (the seal) — the organization details you submit. If your seal is welcomed in, some of these become your public member page (see “Who can see your information”).
• Assessment answers — if you take the optional assessment, the operational figures you enter (such as printing, internet, and office-time numbers) and the findings we show you back. You see everything we find.
• Technical basics — standard information like IP address, browser type, and timestamps, used for security and debugging, plus a sign-in token that keeps you logged in.

How we use your information

• To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
• To show your organization its portal, its seal status, and its own submissions.
• To follow up when you ask us to, and to answer your questions.
• To build anonymized benchmarks from assessment figures that help the next organization — the numbers help others, never your identity.
• To keep the site safe, working, and free from abuse.

We do not use your information to advertise to you, and we do not sell it. We take no payments through this site.

Who can see your information

• You — always. Database-level rules mean an account can see only its own information.
• The public — only your organization’s member page, and only while your seal is active, using the details you provided for it.
• Our small team — only when you ask us for help, when we are investigating abuse, or when the law requires it.
• Trusted service providers — the providers who host this site and store its data and handle sign-in on our behalf. They process your information only to run the service for us, not for their own purposes.

One account across our apps

United Under God offers a family of apps that share one sign-in. Creating an account here, or signing in with an account you already made with one of our apps, links that identity so you can move between them. Each app shows you only the information that belongs to it.

Your rights — and how to use them

• Access & export — write care@unitedundergod.org and we’ll send you a copy of what we hold about you.
• Correct — most of your details are editable in your portal. For anything else, email us.
• Delete — ask us to close your account and we will delete your information, keeping only what the law requires for a short cushion afterward.
• Withdraw — you can stop using any feature, and you can ask us to stop contacting you, at any time.

How long we keep things

• Your account and its information: as long as you have an account, plus a short cushion after deletion.
• Server and security logs: kept briefly, unless tied to a security event.
• Assessment figures: retained in anonymized, aggregated form to help other organizations.

Children

This site is for people 18 and older. If we learn that an account was created by someone under 18, we will close it and delete the information.

Cookies

We use a sign-in token so the site can keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics that follow you around the web.

Changes to this policy

If we change this in a meaningful way, we’ll update the date at the top and, where we can reach you, let you know. Small clarifications we’ll simply publish here.
